If you’re a bride, this is a strange time to be planning a wedding. The future
seems unknown, and we’re sure you have so many questions. At times, it has been hard to
see the light at the end of the tunnel. But the good news is - there is always hope! We
will get through this. And guess what? At the end of the day, you’re going to get
married!

Here’s some advice we have for you:

1. Stay calm. It’s important to collect your thoughts, and not to make any decisions
based on your emotions.

2. Stay organized
. Contact your vendors as soon as you can, and stay in
communication with them. Discuss date change policies, and write down everything
you talk about, so that there are no misunderstandings down the road.

3. Stay proactive. Do whatever you can right now, with the time, space, and finances
that you have. Do some DIY wedding activities at home, get some wedding
inspiration from Pinterest, do some research about all other vendors needed at your
wedding (catering, photo booths, etc.). Don’t just put off all your wedding activities
until things transition back into normalcy. Try to do what you can, so that you are
not overwhelmed when the time for your wedding gets closer.

4. Remember that this time will pass. This is only a phase, and we WILL get through it-
it is only a matter of time. Don’t let a challenging time take away the joy of your
engagement season! This time is so special and exciting, so try to savor it, and look
forward to the future with hope!
